The 13 Fishing Oath Shaker is a 7'2" spinning rod built for shaking minnow-style soft plastics, for example a CrushCity Mooch Minnow on a VMC Minnow Shaker Jig. Its very responsive tip works the bait, and the midsection flexes under load to cushion a hooked fish's head shakes and runs. 13 Fishing notes the technique also works well for walleye and other gamefish.
