The Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon I MY24 builds on the classic 680 platform, which for decades has made the series one of the most recognized over/under shotguns for hunting and sport shooting.
The shotgun is built around Beretta's low and sleek action with the well-known locking system featuring trapezoidal shoulders and double conical locking lugs, which contribute to the reliability and balance the series is known for.
The MY24 version has several technical and cosmetic updates, including a redesigned top lever for smoother opening and closing, as well as updated laser engraving with floral details and microengraved background.
The stock and forestock are made from oil-treated Grade 2 walnut with fine crosshatch checkering for secure grip in various weather conditions. The pistol grip and Schnabel forestock provide classic ergonomics and good control during shooting.
The 686 Silver Pigeon I is equipped with Beretta Steelium® Optimabore® HP barrels and Optimachoke® HP internal chokes, which are designed for uniform shot patterns with lead, steel and High Performance steel shot.
