Berkley
$12.99 CAD — Available in store
Berkley PowerBait MaxScent Flatnose Jerk Shad, 5 in, in the Black Shiner colour. This jerk shad has a compressed flat nose that improves hookups on a drop shot, and a tail that imitates small, easy prey. It is made from Berkley's MaxScent material, which releases a concentrated scent field in the water.
Features and benefits
• Compressed flat nose: fish get hooked more easily when the bait is rigged on a drop shot
• Realistic tail action: looks like vulnerable prey, a good fit for finesse presentations
• Bulkier silhouette: a versatile bait
• Weightless or weighted: fish it high in the water column, or add an insert weight to work it down into heavy cover
• MaxScent material: spreads a strong scent zone in the water that draws fish in
