The Recall Designs moose paddle (OR-505-W) is cut from 3/8 in thick Russian birch. Rubbed against tree bark, it reproduces the sound of a moose rubbing its antlers, a sound that can bring in a curious bull. Flat and light, it slips easily into a hunting pack.
Features and benefits
• 3/8 in Russian birch: thickness chosen to reproduce the sound of antler rubbing
• Large antler-shaped surface: amplifies every rub against the bark
• About 0.5 kg: easy to carry while moving through the woods
• Handles damp conditions well: wipe it after each outing and let it dry slowly if it gets wet
• Easy care: a thin coat of vegetable oil at the end of the season keeps the wood in shape
