The Vortex Viper HD 3000 is a compact 7x25 laser rangefinder that reads up to 3,000 yards on reflective targets, 2,300 yards on trees and 2,000 yards on deer. Its HCD mode corrects the distance for shot angle, for bow and rifle shooters alike, and its ELR mode reaches extreme distances, ideally from a tripod.
Features and benefits
• Four target modes: Normal, First (closest target), Last (farthest target) and ELR for very long distances
• Ranging modes: HCD (angle-compensated horizontal distance), LOS (line of sight) and Scan for continuous readings
• HD optics: XR Plus coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces and ArmorTek on exterior lenses against scratches, oil and dirt
• Illuminated display and simple menu: reads in yards or meters, with an eyepiece diopter
• Rugged build: non-slip rubber armour, waterproof and shockproof, utility clip and harness attachment
• Works on a tripod or window mount (an adapter may be needed)
